ABOUT THE SOUND INSTITUTE
TSI is a studio-based music education institute focused on teaching music production and sound engineering through hands-on practice and real-world workflows.
Our programs are designed around a simple belief: music is best learned by making music. Learning at TSI takes place inside a professional studio environment, where students work directly with sound, instruments, software, and recording setups rather than relying solely on theory or demonstrations.
The institute is shaped by the shared vision of Gaurav and Akshay, whose experience as music creators and practitioners highlighted the need for a learning space that prioritises clarity, process, and disciplined exploration. TSI was created to help students build confidence through consistent studio practice, thoughtful guidance, and an understanding of how creative and technical decisions shape sound.
At its core, TSI aims to support students in developing not just skills, but a sustainable and confident approach to music-making that continues beyond the classroom.
